BASIC JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Communications Coordinator is the marketing voice for all TEC companies. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Creative Designer and create engaging copy across all print and digital platforms such as press releases, print/digital ads, publications, websites, product descriptions, etc. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication channels both internally and externally by acting as the primary liaison between the marketing department and other departments within TEC, facilitating the flow of information and ensuring alignment of messaging across all levels. This position relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks which require a certain degree of creativity and precision.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Creates copy for all digital and print marketing materials
• Schedules social media content via Hubspot for various platforms
• Submits press releases to the media as well as request media kits and place the advertising space commitments
• Distributes media placement and creative submissions for newspapers, radio, television, billboard, etc.
• Collaborates closely with various departments such as sales and customer service to gather information, update, and feedback for marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Coordinates internal meetings, presentations, and training sessions to ensure all stakeholders are informed about upcoming marketing activities, product launches, and strategic initiatives
• Serves as a point of contact for employees seeking marketing support, guidance, or information, and provides timely responses to inquiries and requests
• Manages relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners involved in marketing projects, ensuring that deliverables are met within established timelines and budgets
• Coordinates the production of marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets, and promotional items, by liaising with creative agencies, printers, and suppliers
• Assists with event planning and coordination such as invitations/attendance
• Schedules and coordinates professional photography sessions for all employees
• Creates Excel spreadsheets for media and direct mail
• Other duties assigned as needed
